This article has really taught me a lot more functions of Google Docs, hence making it more efficient  when using it for group project and ICT lessons in various subjects.

You can set an expiry date for your shared folders in Google Drive and the shared links will automatically get disabled at the specified date and time.

Wow! I haven't tried this but...if you share folders with students (say notes, assignments) you could set an expiration date.

I will have to think about this but if it could apply to homework or assignments that students are doing online then it MIGHT deal with a concept of a due date....will experiment with this.
