Smart Cities Web: City Google ….. Coming soon? Smart Cities Search engine…

Smart Cities Web: City Google ….. Coming soon? Smart Cities Search engine… | UrbanLeaks | Scoop.it

City Systems are getting more and more instrumented and becoming an intensive source of data. Smart meters, street cameras, traffic tolls, parking meters, mobile phones and other sensors embedded in all urban systems that forms cities generates huge amount of data which when intelligently analyzed valuable information can be produced for city leaders. Smart Cites are those that use such information to produce better services for their citizens, engage their community and become more competitive in the more increasingly global market place by analyzing the data in hand so they can be more effective and take better decisions.
With the existence of new sets of data and information, search engines may have a new role for both; city leaders and citizens, what’s the use of information if you are not able to search them and extract what’s valuable for you.
