THE EMPTY BASSINET
Born January 29 1883
Died December 19 1884

In 1349 the hamlet of Dowde in the county of Kent was wiped out by the Black Death. All that now remains is a Norman Church which was deconsecrated and sealed with iron bars. There is a ghost of a 7 year old girl known as the "Dodechild" that haunts the grounds. Many rumours circulate about this area and the church and population. Did they die from the plague or from something manevolent originating from the bottomless well.
