Exploration: Urban, Rural and Industrial
Exploring abandoned, ruined and derelict locations in urban, rural and industrial places. http://wreckyratbird.com

Belgium, although tiny compared to its European neighbours, has a wealth of ruins to explore and is considered to be an urban exploration Mecca. Ranging from goliath industrial structures to quaint country houses, Belgium really is the centre of the decaying world. I first started to shoot abandoned places back in 2009 after seeing a post about an abandoned school that was local to me.
We spotted this amazing tree on our way to Resource. Driving back we were spell bound by the HUGE bald eagle perched in the top of her branches. Ran home, got the camera, and ran back to shoot it. The eagle was gone, but what we found was astonishing. This tree house hangs precariously above the residuals of the eagle's killing fields. The place seemed haunted with little animals spirits.
