Frenzied?  Harried?  Drained?  Zapped?  That's the way most Americans feel these days.  We are way over the top over-stimulated.  The cure?  Unplug to recharge your brain

 

Matthew Edlund, M.D. gives us 8 helpful suggestions:

 

  1. Walk: Even 20-30 minutes allows new brain cells to grow
  2. Sleep at least 7-8 hours for optimum brain function
  3. Get out in Nature
  4. Get out of your comfort zone to boost creativity
  5. Use quick, active rest techniques
  6. Pay attention to your body clock
  7. Take breaks or you'll make mistakes
  8. Enjoy sex and grow more memory cells

Tune-out and spend some time dreaming today, it just might relax you. We all need daily time away from being plugged in, sometimes it can feel like the computer or smartphone is plugged into us and there is no escape.


Take a walk, breathe deeply and relax.
