Need access to documents that aren't currently in a PDF or accessible format.  Prizmo supports UDL - and access by providing an app that takes an image of the document (such as a business card) and then uses OCR technologies to "read it aloud"   Neat app.

This TEC (Teaching Exceptional Children) Plus  article by Alexandra Dunn and Luis Perez  on "Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in Action:  The Smart Inclusion Toolkit  [Teaching Exceptional Children 45(2)]  provides an inclusive portrait of a classroom using UDL and AT to support individual students strengths, choices and needs.   Technology is embedded in the "Smart Inclusion Toolkit"   We really enjoyed the examples provided. [You can check many of these out in the T2 PAL lab!]
