I have a question; do we need to live in the United States of Security?
First of all, I would like to go with you to an important note related to two schools of thinking both of them believe they are not wrong.
When I started to think about the Information Security Think Tank "ISTT" and that was some years ago, I faced the two schools in the same team, and because of that we lost a very long time to select one from the two opposite attitudes and that suspended the ISTT for years.
Back to the start, do we need to live in the United States of Security? And Is that will be by our decision? Or we will not find a place to live in!
This point of view came to the surface because the truth is that the information security is global and cannot be isolated and it is impossible to think locally in the information security from now and over.
The problems, the technologies, the methodologies, the tools and everything seems to be the same everywhere .And any one will think that he can do it himself, his progress in this field will be suspended or stopped.
This is my short note about; why we need Information Security Think Tanks.
I think I still need to ask this question, why we need to live in the United States of Security?
