Scientists have shown, using imaging tests, that fructose can trigger brain changes that lead to overeating.

Fructose can only be metabolized by the liver, and the only thing that the liver can make of it is FAT. It is not recognized by the brain as food; in reality is acts like a poison in our body. There is a direct relation between the obesity epidemic and the high fructose corn syrup era: both started 30 years ago. Now they put it in bread, juice and baby formula (yes). Check the labels!

The claims by fructose producers that it was "no different" than sucrose is now being disproven. I wonder how much research they did comparing metrabolic differences or if they just figured "sugar is sugar.?"
