QR voice | UDL & ICT in education | Scoop.it

Text-to-speech lets you automatically have a voice read pieces of text, and sharing the converted speech means you do not have to read out the text yourself. Normally to share the converted speech you have to electronically send somebody the speech file. But using a service called QR Voice, you can conveniently and quickly send anybody a speech file that has been converted from text, as a QR code. QR Voice provides an interesting angle on the regular QR codes that have been doing the rounds recently. QR voice encodes a given text message into QR code that once scanned by a QR scanner smartphone application reproduces the message with a synthesized voice.
