The former chief economist at the World Bank, Justin Yifu Lin, is advising the Chinese government that the time has come for a single global currency.  Lin, who is also a professor at Peking University, says that the U.S. dollar is the root cause of global financial and economic crises. He also says that moving to a global super-currency will bring much needed stability to the global financial system.

 Greg Caton, a U.S. citizen and the Founder of Alpha Omega Labs who was legally selling plant-based topical herbs in Ecuador. Caton was helping sick people, selflessly dedicating his time to heal others. Then, in 1999, he was approached at gunpoint in his own driveway by U.S officials, flown back to the U.S and put in federal prison for two years. He is still in prison To this very day.

6 of the worl's leasing banks have given each other access to their banks. This decision was announced Thursday which lets them swap money. Twitching money has been going on since 2007. The six central banks are located in Japan, England, Canada, Switzerland, the United States and the European Central bank.

Yesterday, congress voted to end the government shutdown. The government has been in a shutdown for three weeks. During this time, all properties owned by the government had to be closed. Anyone working for the government could not work because of the shutdown.

On Thursday, three days after the government shutdown, President Barak Obama blames the Republicans for their obsession of impasse.  Mr. Obama's speech took place at construction company in Washington suburb near the border of Maryland. The House of Representatives sent John Boehner to speak for them. President Obama ridiculed Representative Boehner for not allowing a vote to fund a bill. President Obama says that the house will not change how they stand on this issue and he won't concede from their demands.

BOSTON (CBS/AP) – The U.S. Government will seek the death penalty against Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, federal officials announced on Thursday.

The U.S. Government will seek the death penalty against Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, federal officials announced on Thursday.Prosecutors say they have filed a required notice of intent to seek the death penalty.Officials allege that Tsarnaev, then 19, and his 26-year-old brother, ethnic Chechens from Russia who had lived in the Boston area for about a decade, built and planted two pressure cooker bombs near the finish line of the marathon in April to retaliate against the U.S. for its military action in Muslim countries. The twin blasts killed three people and wounded more than 260 others. The brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, died in a shootout with police during a getaway attempt days after the bombing.

She's still angry over the government shutdown. Her reason? She got a ticket for parking at Olympic National Park.

One Seattle resident was charged with a parking ticket for parking illegally at Olympic National Park. She and many others were still mad about the government shutdown and wanted tthe parks to be useable. The resident is getting charged $5,000 in fines. The case is still in court.

Cuba announced today that they'd ere scraping their double currency system. The reason waste update the econimics of the country. The two types of currency were the peso and he conversional peso. This system has been around since 1959 when Fidel Castro was president.

The U.S. provides Egypt with $1.5 billion a year in aid, $1.3 billion of which is military assistance. The rest is economic assistance.

Yesterday, the U.S supplied Egypt with 1.5 million dollars of aid, 1.3 of that 1.5 million is military assistance. They are sending all of this aid because of the wars going on in the middle east. Last weekend, dozens of people were killed in different clashes. The rest of the 1.5 million that isn't military aid is going to economic assistance.
