While tactics such as cost-cutting may offer temporary relief, they don’t constitute a long-term strategy. We studied more than 75 companies to determine the key strategic operations differentiator and determined that to address increasing performance pressure, companies need to tap into the only resource with unlimited potential—their talent. Food Processors Must Balance High Throughput With Flexibility | Food Processing

Food Processors Must Balance High Throughput With Flexibility | Food Processing | U.S. Manufacturing | Scoop.it

"Mass production of food has gone the way of the Model T, and nowhere is the need for line flexibility more important than at copackers.

Innovation is the future of your company

Innovation is the future of your company | U.S. Manufacturing | Scoop.it

In every company there exist at least three simultaneous perspectives. The first is about the history of the company, its origins, growth, struggles, successes.  The history often defines perspectives and forms the basis of organizational culture.  The stories you tell, the way you remember things about the past all influence the culture, which influences the second perspective:  the present.
