Stanford Sociology Department Partners with TrustCloud to Research P2P Marketplace Trust | Trust and the Sharing Economy | Scoop.it

The Institute for Research in the Social Sciences (IRiSS) at Stanford University and the provider of trust and risk solutions for the internet TrustCloud announce today a research partnership to investigate trustworthiness in peer-to-peer marketplaces (p2p). A Year to Trust in the Sharing Economy | Trust and the Sharing Economy | Scoop.it

I might have overshared this year.

I shared keys to my NYC apartment on Airbnb, rides through San Francisco in a Sidecar, and my workload with TaskRabbits. This is a blogpost by Robert, CTO of our partner Ridepost, giving a great explaination of how to integrate the TrustCloud API.

TrustCloud is a service which allows you to aggregate your online presence (e.g., ratings/reviews, number of connections) from sites like Ebay, Facebook, etc. and generate an online credit score for how trustworthy you are.
