Sitting within a short distance of the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, the future Datum Jelatek development is set to become the most iconic tower in Malaysia.
The new retail and residential development, consisting of four towers connected by a Sky Bridge, has won the Most Iconic Design of the Year at the 2012 Malaysian Reserve Editor’s Choice Awards. Not only is it set for iconic acclaim, but it will also host a range of sustainable features.
Located in Jalan Ampang, Datum Jelatek was designed by Architects Surbana International Consultants and Interior Designers ACID and is expected to cost over $310,000,000. Consisting of four residential towers, four retail towers and one level of office suites, some anticipate that it will become a ‘contemporary retail heaven’ and will be regarded as a ‘benchmark for designer malls in the region.’
