Mount Roraima is located on the border between Guyana, Venezuela and Brazil. The highest of the Pakaraima chain of tepui plateau, it culminates at 2,810 meters at Maverick rock. Most hikers approach the mount from the Venezuelan side, from the Paraitepui village where local Pemon Indian guides can be hired. It usually takes 2 days to hike up at the top.
