5 Questions About Travel For Photographer Macduff Everton

5 Questions About Travel For Photographer Macduff Everton | Belize in Social Media | Scoop.it

Good advice from a photographer visiting our region for over 40 years.

People are making billions of dollars every year off the Maya. There is the Mundo Maya, Riviera Maya, Playa Maya, Ruta Maya, but the Maya aren't profiting from this. They are the employees rather than the owners.

Funky Junk! Wedding Photography in Belize

Funky Junk! Wedding Photography in Belize | Belize in Social Media | Scoop.it

A great blog post about a very different wedding shoot in Belize.

"...We started the day after the wedding with fry-jacks and coffee and hit the road…back to the garage! Peggys rattle that had been cured only 2 days before had come back with a vengance!
While the boys were tinkering about with Peggy, Alex had the idea of taking a few pictures amongst the rotting cars with weeds growing out of their engines. You know, wreck the dress…among the wrecks! As we knew she would, Maya loved the idea and after we had asked the bewildered garage owner I got dressed and paddled into the boggy, saturated field full of rusting old cars..."

When Life Gives You Pea Soup, Make Seree ...

When Life Gives You Pea Soup, Make Seree ... | Belize in Social Media | Scoop.it

Visibility was so bad at Lighthouse Reef during a recent exploratory trip, that I left my camera in the tender 50% of the time. Though the underwater topography was spectacular - caves, tunnels, pillars and vertical cliffs - the chances of capturing a worthy image was near null.

However, once back in the studio...

The Belize Barrier Reef Series

The Belize Barrier Reef Series | Belize in Social Media | Scoop.it
