Although this was kind of hard to read it was interesting to see how different religions are related and where they stem from.

Unit 1 Geography: Its nature and perspectives

Although the article relating to this diagram is in Russian, the diagram is not, and I found it to be a very interesting visual to not only show world religions developing on a time scale, but also because it does a very good job of showing just how many little divisions of each religion they are, and how they are all intertwined. Zooming in on the diagram, you are able to see each divide, each new branch, and each date for hundreds of sets of information.

This illustrates the theme of identification of major world religions because it simply shows the mass amounts of tiny divisions that occur in the major world religions in a simple format. This is very helpful because this would be pages of writing if you tried to write it all out.

Why Customers Are Naturally Negative

Why Customers Are Naturally Negative | Travel and Tourism | Scoop.it

Cendrine Marrouat - cendrinemarrouat.com's curator insight, July 8, 2015 7:05 PM

According to Jeff Toister and research, customers are negatively biased. This has to do with the limbic system, the part of the brain that supports functions like emotionlong-term memory, and olfaction.

Have you ever become impatient when the lineup you chose turns out to move more slowly than the next one? Has a customer service representative said something to that you didn't like? Those are the examples that come to mind to explain that bias.

In social media, the most viral content does not always stem from the most-heartwarming stories. Human beings are more likely to remember the bad than the good.

People who watched G.I. Joe as a kid might remember that every episode included a short PSA that ended with the catch phrase, “Knowing is half the battle.”

That certainly holds true here. Understanding your customers’ natural negativity bias can lead you to a few solutions.

A good article for online and offline businesses!

Placeness

Placeness | Travel and Tourism | Scoop.it
I understand placeness to mean everything that has to do with place, so this website is intended to be a sort of place encyclopedia. I hope that it will in due course provide an overview of the myriad ideas and experiences of place and places. Places are directly experienced aspects of the world and are full with diverse meanings, objects, and ongoing activities.
