Manesha's curator insight, February 17, 2016 4:00 PM

The Digital Rocking Chair's insight:

Simon Staffans:  "A couple of years ago I wrote that I believe the term ”transmedia” will become utterly redundant in a few years’ time. Looking at how the audience and the audience’s engagement has evolved, how new technological possibilities, startups and solutions enable all kinds of new producers, and how the market has started leaning towards a new economy and a new way of approaching content creation, distribution and monetization… I think we’re getting there, quicker than I thought."

donhornsby's curator insight, May 23, 2016 9:15 AM
(From the article): Now, content will of course – for the foreseeable future – still follow along the traditional lines outlined at the beginning of this post. The creator creates, the audience receives. But the ones that get these points, the ones that feel that working lean in an audience-engaged contest… these creators, they will reap rewards that will make everyone else stand up and take notice.
