This article discusses Amanda Palmer and her band "Grand Theft Orchestra". I personally am inspired by her creative work ethic and methods she uses to get intouch with her audiences.  She stresses how much she trusts her audiences to help her band's movement. She doesnt consider begging and asking for help the same thing. She and her band have successful music, and creative fundamentals.

Lady Gaga decided to take an app-based route to help promote the release of her new album.  I think this is a smart way to interact with fans.  Though, I have seen artists do this before, and it never really turns out as well as they planned.
