Only when they take on a third subscription do children’s-focused services and kid-specific “watch, play and learn” subscriptions achieve substantial numbers.

Netflix now has more subscribers in the US than HBO, but whether or not the SVOD leader has the power to drive consumer products sales like traditional kidnets do is still the big question - especially in the absence of viewership data.

In principle, I don't  see why not. My own kids, for example, watch Netflix SVOD almost exclusively these days. Will be interesting to see this one unfold.
