SDL has released Service Release 1 of SDL Trados Studio 2017. The new version includes: 1) LookAhead feature which speeds up retrieval of matches from translation memories and machine translation resources, 2) beta version of SDL Language Cloud terminology provider which allows to manage terminology in the cloud, 3) several enhancements in upLift technology, 4) more helpful error messages with links to knowledge base resources, 5) several updates to MS Office file types - real-time preview for MS Excel and PowerPoint and automatic handling of embeddings from MS Office documents, e.g. Excel charts in MS Word documents, 6) support for Google Neural Machine Translation, 7) other features.
