Correctomatic is a new quality assurance tool designed to search documents for words/phrases defined in correction lists and correct them quickly and easily. You can use it to check and enforce consistency with a style guide, apply a specific language variant (e.g., American or British English) across a document, find potential errors that are difficult to detect with a spellchecker, enforce a specific preferential spelling of a word, find potential translation errors, etc. This versatile tool should be useful for translators, proofreaders, copywriters, etc.
Improvements and bug fixes were made in Multiple Replace, Unbreaker and Document Cleaner (TransTools for Word).
Starting with the new Xbench 3.0 build 1266 and memoQ 2014 build 51 or later, there is better integration between memoQ and XBench. The new workflow is more reliable and straightforward. For more information, refer to this post: http://www.apsic.com/blog/?p=73
The Quality Assurance features in Studio are quite extensive, and they are often loved and hated all at the same time. Loved because when used correctly they can provide excellent assurance that you’ll have happy clients… hated because the automated recognition of numbers, dates etc. in Studio follow the settings of your computer and sometimes these are not what you need...
