The Cluster "Asia and Europe" hosted its second Jour Fixe of the summer term on Thursday, June 28, from 4 to 6 pm at the Karl Jaspers Centre. Prof. William Sax, Prof. Monica Juneja, and Prof. Thomas Maissen discussed Transcultural Studies from an anthropological perspective.

The Jour Fixe contributed to a discussion on the reorientation of the Cluster "Asia and Europe" that focuses on the approach of transculturality. First, Prof. William Sax gave a talk entitled "Transcultural Studies: A view from Cultural Anthropology". Subsequently, Prof. Monica Juneja responded as discussant and open the floor to questions.
