7 lakh candidates (below 60 per cent) took the examination out of more than 3 lakh registered.
The examination was held across the state in 740 centres and a huge number of candidates attended the exam in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts at 192 centres.
One of the questions in English paper was -- Which is the longest river in the world? But in Telugu the question read as ‘Ati Pedda Nadi (biggest instead of longest) The answer for English question was Nile river and for Telugu it is Amazon river.
