Thanks for passing this one on to your PLCs. I flip my History courses, and now I find we are enjoying being historians rather than learning about history. We analyze primary source documents. We create data overlays from census data and church records. We discover what happened, and enjoy arguing over the "Whys." Flipping my classed has changed how I teach for the better.

"Students generally know how to use to technology, or they are generally able to quickly adapt to its use. However, they don’t usually know how to learn with technology." So true. Students are not digital natives in that they are masters of the realm. Instead, they are often ignorant of how to maximize the tech available to facilitate learning.
