If I Would OWN a Company, WHAT Skills Would I Expect From MY Workers In 21st Century!? | LEARNing To LEARN | Transformational Teaching and Technology | Scoop.it

Because of ICT there are sooooo many NEW possibilities to use with the computers and the internet. Just imagine that a company owner should employ people for each special application, NO WAY! (S)He wouldn’t have enough money to afford it!!! So it is necessary that the 21st Century worker/employee would be an all-rounder! An all-rounder WHO comes straight out of school and from whom the business/workforce could profit directly!!!

Dorothy Retha Cook's curator insight, May 18, 2015 5:01 PM

POSITIVE ATTITUDES CAN APPEAR TO BE NEGATIVE AT TIMES. WE OFTEN WONDERED HOW WE WAS SUPPOSE TO BE WILLINGLY SERVANTS WITH JOYFUL ATTITUDE UNTIL WE REALISED SOME OF THE NEGATIVE HAPPENED INTENTIONALY AND AS SUCH IT REMOVED SOME OF THE NEGATIVE THAT WE WOULD NEVER OWN UP TO BUT IS SOME WHERE WITHIN US AND EITHER WE KNOW IT BUT YET DENY IT OR DENY IT BUT KNOW IT IS THERE. BUT THERE ARE THINGS THAT OCCUR THAT WILL MAKE A NEGATIVE LOOKING SITUATION OR CIRCUMSTANCE WITH U/WE REVEAL THE POSITIVE ATTITUDE THAT IS IN THE HEART REFLECTED OUT.

The Psychology of Getting Unstuck: How to Overcome the “OK Plateau” of Performance & Personal Growth

The Psychology of Getting Unstuck: How to Overcome the “OK Plateau” of Performance & Personal Growth | Transformational Teaching and Technology | Scoop.it
Something experts in all fields tend to do when they’re practicing is to operate outside of their comfort zone and study themselves failing. The best figure skaters in the world spend more of their practice time practicing jumps that they don’t land than lesser figure skaters do. The same is true of musicians. When most musicians sit down to practice, they play the parts of pieces that they’re good at. Of course they do: it’s fun to succeed. But expert musicians tend to focus on the parts that are hard, the parts they haven’t yet mastered. The way to get better at a skill is to force yourself to practice just beyond your limits.

Security: It’s Us vs. Them – Or is It? - The State of Security

Security: It’s Us vs. Them – Or is It? - The State of Security | Transformational Teaching and Technology | Scoop.it

Security threats come at us from all sides these days, and it’s a constant battle of “us vs. them” to find and catch the bad guys before you end up in the news and people get fired or resign. Organized cyber-criminals and nation state cyber-terrorists strike deep and lingering fear in us all for the extent of the damage they can cause with one breach.
