Hilarious :D We need this woman to interview more UK politicians - on UK TV!

Craig McIntosh's curator insight, April 28, 2013 1:50 PM

I think the whole idea that we will see hundreds of thousands of Bulgarians flocking to the UK absurd, they have a country that is far more beautiful and relaxing than ours in the UK.

Daily Maverick - April by-elections: ANC's bad day at the polls

Daily Maverick - April by-elections: ANC's bad day at the polls | Trade unions and social activism | Scoop.it

On Wednesday South Africans went to the polls in the biggest by-elections buffet since the 2011 municipal elections, with 17 wards up for grabs. At least eight of these were marginal wards with the potential for a change of power. There was a fair amount of that going on, one or two significant upsets and some eleventh-hour controversy for added spice. All in all, it was a good day at the races – but not for the ANC. G. L. Taylor's comment, April 25, 2013 4:20 AM
Case of the pot calling the kettle black. Which political leader make I ask is relevant to us plebeians (free people, shopkeepers, crafts people, skilled or unskilled workers, and farmers). They are not free as the swear oath to the crown but suck up to the party and establishment; non are shopkeepers, crafts people, skilled or unskilled workers nor farmers. In short they are total irrelevant, even to those they they pledged oath to and those they spend their lives sucking up to. We need to replace the whole bloody lot of media produced cardboard cut-outs with real people that relate to and understand real people..

Right now, it is inevitable that teachers who aren't considered 'normal' are also facing exclusion. However I think people shouldn't look at a person's past that is stopping them from teaching, such as criminal history or relationship views.
