The Sun's front page on British Muslims has attracted a record number of complaints

The Sun's front page on British Muslims has attracted a record number of complaints | Trade unions and social activism | Scoop.it
Record numbers have complained to the press industry watchdog after The Sun made a claim that one fifth of British Muslims had “sympathy for jihadis”. How the Fearmongering 'Sun' Distorts Its Polls

How the Fearmongering 'Sun' Distorts Its Polls | Trade unions and social activism | Scoop.it
Today's front page headline in the Sun covers almost the entire page. Accompanied by a chilling photo of a knife-wielding "Jihadi John" in black balaclava, it proclaims "1 IN 5 BRIT MUSLIMS' SYMPATHY FOR JIHADIS". It is a lie. Even worse, it is a shameful distortion of its own polling data, consciously designed to fuel terror and distrust of Muslims.

Two thirds of Labour members think Jeremy Corbyn is doing well as leader - more than the number who voted for him | Trade unions and social activism | Scoop.it
Support for Jeremy Corbyn among Labour members has risen since he became leader, despite his first 10 weeks being dominated by internal divisions with MPs and shadow cabinet ministers over policy and appointments.  Two thirds of those eligible to vote in the leadership contest that elected Mr Corbyn said he was doing "well".
