What state's new tourism slogan is: 'Still Revolutionary'?

Residents of this state were asked what was special about it or what made it stand out in their minds, and a common response was "nothing," tourism officials say.

So after further probing, it turned out that lots was happening in the state, from innovation to historical sites. That prompted the new tourism slogan, "Still Revolutionary."

At the Tourism Association of New Mexico (TANM) Governor’s Conference on Tourism today, the City of Roswell was recognized for excellence in the NM tourism industry at the TANM Tourism Industry Recognition Awards (TIARA). These awards help bring greater awareness to the importance of the tourism industry to New Mexico’s economy, and are given to highlight excellence and creative accomplishment in travel marketing and promotion.

 

Roswell was recognized with a TIARA award for NEW EVENT OF THE YEAR for the 2011 Roswell International Sci-Fi Film Festival: Aliens in Cinema.
