Not too long ago, HeadHunterBrian posted an article about a case in which the popular review site Yelp was used as a vehicle for extortion. While this is a pretty extreme scenario, Yelp and other sites like it are quickly becoming the most important source of customer feedback and word-of-mouth advertising. Positive reviews are always great to receive, but negative reviews can be more helpful for the growth of your restaurant as a whole. Here are a few ways to deal with negative feedback tactfully.

State tourism officials are taking advantage of the blockbuster success of “Iron Man 3.”Much o f the movie was filmed in North Carolina. Filmmakers transformed coastal Wilmington, small-town Rose Hill and suburban Cary into California, Tennessee, Florida and even Afghanistan for the high-tech adventure.

Dernièrement, plusieurs destinations ont tenté de tire profit de certains succès cinématographiques à l’image de la Nouvelle-Zélande avec The Hobbit ou encore de la Grande-Bretagne avec le dernier James Bond, Skyfall (opérations de branding).

Aujourd’hui, c’est l’Etat de Caroline du Nord qui souhaite bénéficier de la notoriété d’Iron Man 3, sorti vendredi dernier aux Etats-Unis. L’idée est intéressante : sachant que la plupart des scènes ont été tournées en Caroline de Nord, l'organisme de promotion de l'Etat a décidé de lancer un site internet qui identifie les lieux des meilleures scènes du film.
