Ryan Morgan's insight:

I think the tour that they brought here to America was a BIG success! It brought a huge mash into the American style pop with South Korean pop. I have listened to the band and they are AMAZING! I think that the fact they had celebrities wanting to go see their show is a big deal, and in my books make for a successful group.

The Band Perry Prepares For First Headlining World Tour

The Band Perry Prepares For First Headlining World Tour | World Tours | Scoop.it
Things are as busy as ever for The Band Perry. On top of touring with Rascal Flatts on the Live and Loud Tour and having their new single “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely” impact radio, the family band is also preparing for their own headlining world tour.

Ryan Morgan's insight:

I am excited to see such an amazing band heading onto a world tour. My only question is, why didn't they go on one sooner? They have been around enough that they could of hit more people by doing a world tour sooner. I believe that the tour will still be successful. Our neighbors across the ocean will have a blast at their shows.

PRO: They are bringing their music to other people around the world and expanding their market. Their fans around the world will feel more connected to them and feel more involved.

CON: With how long the band has been out, why couldn’t they have done the world tour sooner? If I was a fan of The Band Perry in Japan, I would feel left out of the fan base because they weren’t coming to my country on any of their tours. If they had expanded to a world tour sooner, they could of made a bigger brand and reached out to more people sooner.

The Who to quit stage after 50th anniversary world tour

The Who to quit stage after 50th anniversary world tour | World Tours | Scoop.it

The Who have announced that their touring days are over and that they will bow out with a final set of gigs to mark their 50th anniversary in 2015.

Ryan Morgan's insight:

It is sad to see such an amazing band retire from touring. My parents have been to a few of their concerts and they always have stories about the concert. I love their music and it stinks that I might be able to see them live. But it is a good move since they are battling health issues.

Beyonce Shuts Press Photographers Out of World Tour

Likely a response to the circulation of "unflattering" photos earlier this year, press photography is banned during singer Beyonce Knowles' current tour.

Ryan Morgan's insight:

To be honest, I think Beyonce is being a little selfish. Yes the pictures were unflattering, but think about how much more attention she has gotten by the photos. When people see them, they are going to want to look her up! Thus, her popularity will grow. No matter how hard you try, you will never stop someone from taking a photo and posting it to the Internet. I think she was a little out-of-line.
