What do you think of this? Personally, I love it! Do you think it is time for the fashion industry to cater to real women with real fashion for real sizes? Take a close look! We are not talking about promoting obesity! In my mind, this is healthy reality. Extremities are not healthy! We should be good stewards of our body and our health. We should exercise and eat healthy and use healthy products that aid us in our attempt to be our best, but with an appropriate expectation and a determination to be content with the body and shape God gave us! Hubby and I have been trying to be on FORKS OVER KNIVES since April. He talked to a friend who had talked to a friend who had a heart attack and swore this was really helping him get his numbers in line! Since my hubs has just slightly high cholesterol, trigllycerides, and enlarged prostate, he decided he wanted to do this! We do not want him on medication at this point even though the doctor did. I, as an 18 year fitness professional have always been a protein junkie and pusher, so I was reluctant to say the least!
Fast forward a few months later and the hubs has lost 30 lbs. on this and I have leaned out a little. We are not perfect, and we are closer to vegetarian than true FORKS OVER KNIVES DIET ( like vegan on steroids). We always ate lean with lots of veggies, but this has has been a pleasant surprise to me. Yes, we do eat more pasta and grains, but I have very few cravings even with the few added carbs. Rarely do I get hungry. We are not perfect when we go out or go to parties, but we try to make best choices, and we are satisfied! We don't even have trouble then!
