Cool to see prices coming down, cross-modality applicability and easy to power/use all in the same package. This overcomes a lot of obstacles we faced in the early 90s. It'd be interesting to see its noise characteristics, and its voltage range and resolution. It's also not clear form the article if the A/D and wireless are built in, and if so, what their characteristics are. I also wonder if much work has been done on the software side. There are a lot of new algorithms to make sense of biosignals, I'd like to know if they use any, have something new, and whether hardware design choices they made worked backwards from that. The article makes it sound like the device can distinguish EKG from EEG and EMG. Is that from intelligence applied to a wide-open frequency band? Is it using filters to achieve several different bands? Suppose I'll have to dig into the original papers to get any real answers.
