The IEEE International Conference on Autonomous Robot Systems and Competitions (IEEE ICARSC) is an international scientific meeting in the field of Mobile Robotics technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society and sponsored by the IEEE Portugal Section, the Portugal Section RA Chapter and Sociedade Portuguesa de Robótica (SPR).
It will be the 14th edition of the scientific meeting. The IEEE International Conference on Autonomous Robot Systems and Competitions – ROBÓTICA 2014, to be held in Espinho, Portugal, May 14th to 15th, 2014.
Conference content will be included into IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases, such as SCOPUS. The conference has also already confirmed for this 14th edition a Special Issue of (15-20) selected extended papers in the Journal of Intelligent & Robotic Systems from Springer, indexed by Thomson ISI Web of Knowledge andSCOPUS.
The scientific meeting is held in conjunction with the 14th Portuguese Robotics Open (from 14th until 18th May), a RoboCup Local Event with several other associated competitions. Its scope encompasses, but is not limited to, the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Education.
