Reuters photographer LUKE MACGREGOR shoots a ton of amazing pictures today at the Olympics. He captures the full moon as it rises through the Olympic Rings hanging beneath Tower Bridge during the London 2012 Olympic Games. Click on the link and see the other pics as the moons rises... I don't know about you, but everytime I try to shoot an amazing moon, it always looks like a small streetlight in a black night sky!! Enjoy people!

TONY POTTS: The New Justin Bieber? Not Quite, But That's A Good Thing For YouTube Sensation Ryan Beatty
Had a great time meeting and chatting with YT darling Ryan Beatty the other day when I hosted GDLA for FOX. He's fast approaching 30-million views in 34-months give or take. Great voice. Clean cut look. 16-years old. Bieber more than a billion views in about 5 years. Clean cut. Has the voice. But the comparisons, according to what Ryan said to me, stop there. Sure Justin paved the YouTube way and Ryan is full aware this has made his path to potential stardom (not to mention getting noticed at all) possible. However, Ryan is less pop, more his own artist. However, there are some other similarities. A couple of years ago, I was in Nashville, backstage, with Justin when his world was exploding. Blowing up big time. Who was with the young Bieber? His mom. Who was in the studio yesterday with Ryan Beatty as his world is on the precipice of possibly exploding? His dad. Yep. Family close by, constantly, has been very good for Bieber and it will be good for Beatty, too. What Ryan doesn't have is what I like to call a "been-there, done-that" mentor. Bieber has Usher Terry Raymond IV. Usher to you and me. I met Usher early in his career as it was taking off, did stuff with him mid-way thru when he was on fire and then when he was with Justin. Sometimes 'talent', as performers (singers, actors, people in front of the camera) are referred in the business, can only understand talent and what a talent goes through. It's the 'if you haven't walked in my shoes, it's tough for you to really understand what I'm going through" kinda thing. Usher can alert Justin to an insane hair-pin, mountain curve on his career road BEFORE he gets there and possibly save him from sending his car(eer) off a cliff. Don't see that a BTDT with Ryan. Justin also has an excellent manager in Scooter Braun. Ryan has one. Jury is out, as it should be at this point, if Ryan's manager is excellent. Ryan is definitely in for a wild ride as his career (and passion) start to blow-up. Here is one more good thing in Ryan's favor; He told me has a season's pass to Six Flags Magic Mountain in his new hometown of Valencia. Clearly the kid likes a thrill ride. Those last about 2-minutes and you're done. I have a feeling the career ride he's on will be much longer than 2-minutes or the requisite 15-minutes. Ryan has much more than a season's pass, it's a 'fastpass' and those are the best passes of all and you never have to wait in line.

This is actually an insanely smart move. Considering Lady Gaga has a tremendous social presence and power, it makes complete sense to combine the best of Pinterest and Reddit. Not that she copied them, like she'd never co-opt Madonna or anything, right? However, make no mistake, many artists will be watching how her new site performs. The potential monetary capability of this LittleMonsters site is huge.

It does appear to many that anything Timberlake touches carries a little something called Midas Magic. For the most part, it's true. He's exceptionally successful in nearly every venture and here's why.

Entrepreneurship is about learning and iterating. See what successful founders wish they knew when they got started. I like to call them BTDT's --the Been There, Done That folks who've made the mis-steps, but have also, sometimes thru sheer will, made the right choices and have been successful. Good Stuff. Enjoy.

TONY POTTS: Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles Hits The Trifecta -- Tour, Show and Baby!
Had a blast meeting Jennifer Nettles when I hosted FOX-TV's Good Day Los Angeles this morning. I'm in town for the next coupla weeks and the FOX Folks asked if I'd like to steer the ship for a week. I figured, 3-hours of live tv a day without a script--- of course! Jennifer is lead vocalist of Sugarland, which has won 18-awards and charted five #1 songs, is one of the 'mentors' on ABC's show, and is now expecting her first child. The tri-fecta, as it were. What you don't see when the show is in commercial break could be, many times, an excellent part of the show. Jennifer was chatting with the crew and Melissa Rivers while we were in commercial break. Such a nice, down-to-earth woman. Could not have been nicer before or after her segment. Off camera told me she feels blessed to have so much good will happening all at once. After she finishes the Duet's finale' Thursday night, she jumps on a plane Friday morning and has a show on the east coast, Delaware, that night. All the while, having two of her singers in the finals and taking care of the ever growing bump of being nearly 4-months pregnant. Net-Net: Love it when creative, successful and driven people are also good people. Often, the two-are mutually exclusive. Not here. Not in Sugarland.

There are a number of cool apps in here...with MarbleCam being the one I like the most. Also, it's free, so, gotta love that, too. One more thing. If you love taking pics with your phone...espesh candid's, then I have a great app for you. And yes, it's free. Or at least it was when I dl'd it. It's called PopBooth Photo. It takes four different quick poses of you and puts them in the old-school photobooth mode. It's cool and you can use various fx, too. Enjoy and tweet me some pics!
