Sévère réquisitoire de Christophe Lachnitt à l'encontre d'une journaliste de “60 Minutes“, l’émission d’investigation de CBS, qui a utilisé le témoignage d'un mythomane pour évoquer les dessous de  l’attaque du consulat de Benghazi. Cette attaque provoqua, le 11 septembre 2012, la mort de quatre Américains dont l’Ambassadeur Christopher Stevens. Or, comme par hasard, le faux témoin conforte Lara Logan sur le point de vue qu'elle avait exprimé dès octobre 2012 sur l’attaque. Voilà qui explique sûrement son peu d'empressement à vérifier la crédibilité de sa source.

Malheureusement, cette affaire ne contribuer pas à redorer l'image du journalisme qui, comme le rappelle Christophe Lachnitt, "ne s’use que si l’on ne s’en sert pas".
