He was a rock in the airsoft community, and he will be deeply missed. Geo had an infectious personality and always gave of himself, quite sacrificially. If anyone he met had a need he could fill, he did it without hesitation. Well, fellow airsofters, Geo’s family stands in need, with the loss of Charles "GEO" Britton.
If you would like to help meet those needs, please make a monetary donation, in memory of our friend, Geo. The family has asked us to accept these donations in lieu of flowers for the memorial service, and also to continue accepting donations until the end of June to aid them with expenses.
Geo never had a lot, but what he had he shared with his friends. It is time we honor him by returning the favor, and coming to the aid of his family’s financial needs. Please give what you can, and let’s show his family how much he meant to our airsoft community.

"Shikoba Falls is a feature length thriller about a teenage outcast pressured into a dangerous combat game who becomes lost and the target of a deranged bully....
...The Game within the film The game in the film is called "hard ball" and consists of illegally modified airsoft and paintball guns. The guns have had various modifications in order to radically increase air pressure and use ammo such as ball bearings, darts and other deadly projectiles. Every player is on their own, all regular club rules are abandoned. It's a free for all of dangerous proportions and intentional injuries. No pain no game.
Production is Under Way There was a test shoot for a five minute opener created a few years ago. Since then there has been approximately 20 minutes of the film shot. Last summer with cast in place...."

Thanks, Thumpy, for your help with this effort! We always say airsoft is a community, and community helps each other out. I believe, within the airsoft community, we have some of the finest people around. There have been several that have given what they can, and it has made a difference. The family has been overwhelmed by the support. Praying for the family is awesome! Giving what you can allows our community to be the hands and feet, and reflect, in a tangible way, the love that God has for us all. Please prayerfully consider giving to relieve the financial burden for this family. Nothing can replace Geo, but the impact he had on our community can certainly be demonstrated by us all.

Police Chief Jason Maddix says the city will attempt to to regulate air guns which look like their more lethal cousins.

Another community where the police/craptastic plastic guns interface has reached critical mass for local LEO's...I'd love some help identifying those guns on the table in front of the Chief. And, we'd also like to know if he's planning on regulating the SALE or POSSESSION of these by kids who's parents bought them as toys. THEY ARE NOT TOYS, CHIEF...and if you'd just charge a few people under the laws already on the books AND do some public education/media effort, you wouldn't have to put on a dog-and-pony show like this....PEOPLE WOULD GET THE MESSAGE THAT ITS WRONG!
