The question, "How do you identify thought leaders?" solicited a number of responses on LinkedIn.
The ensuing discussion introduces a slew of other questions--at least in my mind--because I find the definitions I've encountered thus far to be lacking.
Here are just a few.
A thought leader:
1. Is a company or a person?
2. Has the ability to do or the ability to convey?
3. Is characterized by inherent traits or external recognition?
These oversimplify the topic just a bit, so the answers likely fall in the middle ground. More to come.
