We have all heard of Propaganda Techniques, advertising is all about touching emotions in a big way! Brands use feelings and emotions to get people to buy products even when they don't need them! Brand loyalty depends to a great deal on emotive attachments. Baby products for one thing exploit maternal feelings to a great deal, whether it is diapers, or clothes!

The Best Video Content for Every Step of the Marketing Funnel

The Best Video Content for Every Step of the Marketing Funnel | The Twinkie Awards | Scoop.it
Take yourself back to your childhood chemistry lessons. I bet at least once your teacher droned on about how heating up a substance would make the particles in it move faster.

What has this got to do with video content marketing?

Here’s the picture: Your marketing funnel is that substance your teacher was telling you about. All the leads inside it are those particles, bouncing around.

How do you make those leads speed up and move down the funnel faster? Well, it’s simple. You just need to energize the situation.

Why Retirement Is a Flawed Concept

Why Retirement Is a Flawed Concept | The Twinkie Awards | Scoop.it

For many of us, it’s starting to feel like the light at the end of the tunnel of life has been blocked by a triple-bolted steel door. Who’s to blame for this mess?

The Germans.

Yes, back in 1889, German Chancellor Otto von Bismarck invented the idea of retirement, establishing the concept for the rest of us. “Those who are disabled from work by age and invalidity have a well-grounded claim to care from the state,” he said at the time. He wanted to address high youth unemployment by paying those 70 and older to leave the workforce, and other countries followed suit with retirement ages around 65 or 70.

But there is one big difference between 1889 Germany and the world we live in today: The average lifespan then was 70 years. Now we’re all living much, much longer. And many of us would like to retire much earlier. But the scary headlines — and the realities that we see around us — cast doubt on our ability to ever retire. The entire concept of retirement is starting to feel flimsy at best.

I like that the market is changing and developing new ways to outsource content creation to fit your personal needs. I think it is neat that they are trying to diversify the small market to fit the bigger need with more companies using social media marketing. Zapty is a new one with a very clean page, I like that most accounts are free and premium are just $2 a month. Bitrix24 was another cool one that was described as Facebook for businesses. Its new update allows people to add as many users to their free accounts which is nice for synchronization. Konsus is like a social media freelancing matchmaking site to find the right freelancer for your needs. They send the final price through quality control and you only get the invoice when you're happy with the work done. Overall this site has lots of great new tools that you can find to outsource your content this year.
