Kacey rocks, I knew she was going to be a favorite of mine when she released Merry Go Round. Great melodic prosody and a great story are rare in any music, even Country which is all about stories. Good on you Willie, one of the things that we forget in the aftermath of the Texas fertilizer plant fire and the bombings in Boston is that many of the people with serious injuries don't have health insurance and will remain victims long after the incidents become distant memories.
Funny how the 'greatest country in the world' doesn't seem to have a health system capable of ensuring those innocent victims, people who have lost limbs, head injuries and people who will suffer PTSD could end up struggling to make ends meet in the future while everyone else celebrates that the remaining suspect has been caught.
I'm assuming that the insurers in Texas will be making what restitution they can. A town has to rebuild itself and unless the plant is rebuilt the local economy may also have been destroyed, but I digress. Delete the scoop?
