New Freedoms in Tunisia Drive Support for ISIS

New Freedoms in Tunisia Drive Support for ISIS | The Related Researches & News of Dr John Ward | Scoop.it
Even as Tunisians have approved a new constitution and the country has one of the Arab world’s most educated populations, militants are recruiting more openly there than in any other country.
John Ward's insight:

TUNIS — Nearly four years after the Arab Spring revolt, Tunisia remains its lone success as chaos engulfs much of the region. But that is not its only distinction: Tunisia has sent more foreign fighters than any other country to Iraq and Syria to join the extremist group that calls itself the Islamic State.

Longest day of the year, a day most chosen to get married. This is the holy day opposite earth’s orbit from Christmas, the solar “birth” holidays. Luckily this is not a solar “death” holiday, although some in the “Dark Side” of the spiritual world do think of this day as a “death of god” day, the idiots. Never will understand the hardcore darkside — as if they would survive if the sun didn’t?!

Dark Impulses: Magical Innovations

John Ward's insight:

This was a book that upon first reading it I figured that it deserves a three star rating, but as I continued on I found enough useful information that it was deserving of a four star review. The book “Becoming Magick” is really geared towards the more advanced practitioner yet I was able to pull out several things that I would find useful and those things will find themselves copied into my notes for further use.
