So either you or your girlfriend has decided it's time to stop ordering something that tastes like a fraternity's keg spout every time you go out for dinner.

Dont want us to know they are feeding us POISON!
Jessica Ballard's curator insight,

I deal with this daily. It is so important to know what we are eating. Clear labeling is very important, but I don't want the government regulating anything else. They keep messing enough up. I just refuse to buy something that is not clearly labeled or that causes a reaction in my family. Power of the Pocketbook, and my voice. Delete the scoop?

We need to stop GM food, stop Monsanto, Dupont, Bayer, BASF to poison our food.

Hi John, the sad part is Obama signed a protection act of Monsanto a few weeks ago. Above the law, so what is your proposal?
John Lasschuit ®™'s comment,

Spread the word. Contribute to 'March against Monsanto' on May 25th, make people aware and create a movement like the Zeitgeist or Occupy Movement, with the goal to change the protection act, the codex etc and give people back their right of freedom to choose what they want to eat.

Eating healthy seems like it's expensive, but it can save money on your grocery bill now and in doctors bills later on in life. The key is to eat what you buy and not waste food.

It's not only healthier to eat food from your own garden, gardening is also good for your health too. Growing your own food can save you a lot of money and increase your healt too.
Arun Shrivastava's curator insight,

This is so true and yet people ignore this simple solution to our health problems. We are so fortunate in India that we have hundreds of varieties of grains, vegetables, fruits, nuts, roots, stems, barks, leaves...and we all use some of these in our everyday meals. And our lands can produce heaps and heaps of food and yet over 50% of us are malnourished and facing serious health problems.
Our kids have being vaccinated when there is no need for vaccination, no need for expensive modern medical care and for the rich medical insurance. We lived a very healthy life 50 years ago and if we take some hard decisions we can easily go back to the basics of good food, nutrious foods and good health.
Wanna make a start? Dump canola oil, the so-called "healthy oil"...if at all you wish to use oil, use local mustard oil, Ghee, local white butter, coconut oil, sesame seed oil....so many. From the time Lever Bros introduced DALDA to today when worst criminal food multinational corporations have entered India, they have created a health disaster.
