Telescopic text is a fun tool to play with when you have writer's block. As I will try to show with my simple sentence, "I wrote a book," it can also be a marketing tool for writers.

In my novel, The Proper Order of Things the protagonist (Caroline) refers to her mother as Mother and her father as Dad . It sounds awkward, doesn't it? 
It's like no other feeling when your art gets cheated on, and for the most part when this happens, there is no one to blame but your muse. 
Once you become a parent, reading for pleasure can become non-existent or even something that you have to schedule in.

As a writer, you always dream of your book being made into a movie. I'm sure many writers have even tried to write out the script to their novels. If they haven't done that, they must have at least thought about who would play the main characters in their novel.
