Do You Know Your Keywords?

Do You Know Your Keywords? | The Perfect Storm Team | Scoop.it

Use the Right Keywords for More Traffic and Leads It seems like an easy question: “What are your keywords?”

The best way to find out how to hone in on the best topics for your niche is to perform keyword research in places in addition to Google AdWords, which provides good results, but not narrow ones. There are a few areas in which to accomplish this:

- Online education sites such as Udemy, edX, ed2go, and iTunes

- Q&A sites like Quora, Yahoo Answers, Wiki Answers, and Ask.com

- Competitor research

- Traditional keyword research

- Social media research with chats and hashtags

Let’s break down a few examples and find out how each method can work for your content marketing strategy: http://www.business2community.com/seo/do-you-know-your-keywords-01307444

Use Third-Party Content - If you’re still not able to generate an adequate amount of content, there are ways to successfully use and share content that is already published by other sources.

HD Vest is a financial services firm that provides office support and broker/dealer operations for 4,500 independent financial advisors across the country. In order to stand out as thought leaders, they knew that they would need content. However, they lacked the resources and time. Additionally, in a highly-regulated industry such as financial services, they had to be careful not to step into any legal gray areas with their content.

The Power Of IoT and Social Media Mix

The Power Of IoT and Social Media Mix | The Perfect Storm Team | Scoop.it

Orchestrating social media can be likened to herding cats or catching greased pigs – there are so many sites, so many activities and so many connections to be made. Where do we focus, and why?

Focus on dedicated platforms – see Facebook and Parse below – or API’s for smart hardware. Why? Is it really a need for IoT and Social Media mix?

Most social media companies are already in advanced collaborations with IoT companies.

Commanding Attention. Social messaging apps are where many of us spend most of our mobile “screen time”. Through integration with wearable devices this bond will only grow stronger. It also positions the social app as not only the main communication interface, but as an alert and device control interface as well....

Why Spreading Yourself Thin on Social Media is a Terrible Mistake

Why Spreading Yourself Thin on Social Media is a Terrible Mistake | The Perfect Storm Team | Scoop.it

Ever since social media first started taking over the Internet, marketing and PR pros have found ways to utilize these sites to their advantage. If you want to launch a successful marketing campaign, then having a strong social media campaign is an important part of this effort. However, you need to make certain that you aren't spreading yourself too thin on social media.

Stay Focused

So many individuals get overly excited about using social media that they decide to sign up for every social media channel. However, this can actually hurt more than it can help. You need to pick a few different social media accounts and really focus on those channels. Having a truly successful social media campaign on one outlet is far more beneficial than having three or four social media accounts that don't have a strong following....

Consumer and industrial products will be valued increasingly not just for their standalone functionality, but also for how well they work within the digital ecosystem. In the consumer realm, companies’ marketing success will depend on their ability to connect with, and creatively exploit, the interdependent network of apps, devices, and services....

I have missed some real information on the subject from an insider.

And here is some -

I must say, FB have made a concept of dictatorship deciding who and what i see posting and i don't like it.

About 60% of what's hitting my "wall" is advertising now and if you are one of my friends there is 7% chance i got you update and posts on my screen.

Is G+ the answer then?

Not at the moment because the people i like to interact with isn't using it and never had.

Actually i would like to see something new. -

Something with the best from Twitter, FB, and G+ combined in a new concept.

Is there such a thing already?

I don't know, maybe there is.

Please make some comments here and help us out if you know one.

I'll check it.
