LED Pong

LED Pong | Daily Magazine | Scoop.it

I call this "LED Pong". I built it from scratch and I based the design on a 1-meter strip of individually addressable LEDs and an Arduino Uno. Pong was one of the first video arcade games ever made. It was released by Atari in 1972 and if you are unfamiliar with it, this video provides a good overview of the gameplay.

A Simple 2-Way Bluetooth-based Android Controller for Arduino

A Simple 2-Way Bluetooth-based Android Controller for Arduino | Daily Magazine | Scoop.it

ANDRUINO is a simple tool to help you control your Arduino (or clone) from your Android phone. It's both an Android app and an Arduino program. Andruino has a simple Android user interface to 1) control Arduino's digital and PWM pins 2)  send text commands to Arduino 3) and receive data from  Arduino over Bluetooth serial using the ever popular and really cheap (less than $10 from ebay) HC-05 Bluetooth over serial module or its siblings.

Turning a router into an Arduino shield - Hack a Day

Turning a router into an Arduino shield - Hack a Day | Daily Magazine | Scoop.it
[Dirk] had a problem: while he already had an Arduino with an Ethernet shield, he needed WiFi for an upcoming project. Running a Cat5 cable was out of the question, and a true Arduino WiFi shield is outrageously expensive.
