Problems often arise, but not all are so urgent to be followed. We should concentrate not on too many things in life and in business – we should learn to focus on the most evident problem, the problem which is urgent and most important at the very moment. Besides it is a good method to offer only one solution for a small target group. Forces should be kept concentrated. Relationships, ideas, ways of thinking, so to say immaterial things, are always more important than material things. Too much weight on material aspects is only harmful. Money is not everything in life. And not to forget the benefits for others comes before self-interest. These four points together make a wonderful strategy for life and for business.
Life and business means knowing to concentrate on what is really important and will bring us success and personal happiness.

Here are some of Costolo's tips for successful leadership as he guides Twitter toward a possible entrance onto Wall Street.
1. Don't try to make friends."As a leader, you need to care deeply, deeply about your people while not worrying or really even caring about what they think about you," Costolo said. "Managing by trying to be liked is the path to ruin." Costolo admits this is easier said than done, but added it's important to avoid simply telling your employees what they want to hear. Don't apologize for making a tough decision, he said, be confident and clear when dictating what must be done.2. There are many different ways to be a successful leader.Often, particularly in Silicon Valley, successful CEOs are overanalyzed and placed under a microscope. "We take notes and we feverishly try to imitate what they've done to be successful," Costolo said. "The reality is, these people are the same people they were 10 years ago, and are going to be 10 years from now when it may not work at all for them.The very same person they are today that's lionized may be frowned upon 10 years from now." Leadership techniques change, so it's vital to understand there are many paths to success.3. Be transparent."The way you build trust with your people is by being forthright and clear with them from day one," he said. "You may think people are fooled when you tell them what they want to hear. It is so easy to make a judgment about other people – and we too often believe to know what other people might think and how they might react. But the truth is, we never really know what others see and how others feel. We only know our feelings and our point of view exactly and with absolute certainty.
Although we may believe that we instinctively understand how another person feels, it is probably never true. Each human being is different, each of us is unique – in his feelings and in his kind of thinking, we all have different backgrounds and instincts. Two apparently similar people can react in very different ways.
Showing empathy for others is certainly good and always to recommend, but we should learn that the same empathy for two different persons can indeed lead to different results and both can react totally different. We are never sure how others perceive our feelings and our point of view.
Therefore we cannot set up a general rule how to treat other people or how to effectively communicate with others. We can only give some good advice and useful tips.
What we should learn:
WE HAVE NO IDEA HOW OTHER PEOPLE SEE THEIR WORLD!
WE HAVE NO IDEA HOW OTHERS SEE US!
NEVER ASSUME TO KNOW OTHER PEOPLE!

A leader must be fully committed to nurture relationships and give trust to the people around him. Good leaders are not power driven, they are people driven. They have an interest in other people and their lives.
It all begins with the right communication and behavior. People should feel estimated and encouraged in that way, that they are interested in deepening the relationship with the person.
Kindness and friendliness open doors and show people that they are welcome in our life. Prejudices and assumptions are the wrong way to establish relationships of trust.
We should create a YES culture where people feel welcome and respected. Every time we connect with a person, even in a fleeting moment, we touch their life and we may feel enriched by that connection.
