Apparently her coronation didn't go over well with some critics in Oz, as this article points out all the people who disapprove of a woman who is also a horse winning the title.
They must not follow sports. She traveled halfway across the world--which the Olympians did as well--and proved her worth. She thrilled the world and, as the article says, "She stopped a nation."
