There are many reasons why it is easier to focus on channel, packaging or business model innovation rather than core product or service innovation. As I noted previously, there may be a significant standard to overcome - the internal combustion engine or electricity distribution.

Point de vue intéressant : "quand les fabricants de produits se mettent à innover sur le packaging, l'info produit, le canal de vente ou le modèle économique, c'est un bon signe que le produit a atteint ses limites en matière d'innovation (incrémentale) et que le secteur est en attente d'une innovation produit (de rupture celle là)."

Scientists make skin for robots, prosthetics, and even heart monitoring devices. For a true cybernetic limb to work well, the wearer has to be able to feel objects when they touch them.
