20 Photos Of Nature Winning The Battle Against Civilization | The Landscape Café | Scoop.it

Leading change by Leading Self is a two day full immersion training for coaches and leaders, who are familiar with the latest tools, models and approaches ranging from Agile methods to Holacracy, networked organizations, Integral Theory, Systems Thinking and Self Organizing teams. still experience difficulties in getting expected results and leading change in highly complex environments. How can I grasp the complexity in the organization and know what decisions are best? inspire others to action and make them think in new ways? sense what is possible in the future? create the future I want for my clients and for myself? Otto Scharmer, MIT, gives us a key insight: “The success of our actions as change-makers does not depend on what we do or how we do it, but on the inner place from which we operate”. This is like the Master in martial arts who knows that external actions will only be as good as the internal state, and that developing our inner world is just as important as

Mac Stone: Stunning photos of the endangered Everglades | TED Talk | TED.com | The Landscape Café | Scoop.it
For centuries, people have viewed swamps and wetlands as obstacles to avoid. But for photographer Mac Stone, who documents the stories of wildlife in Florida's Everglades, the swamp isn't a hindrance — it's a national treasure. Through his stunning photographs, Stone shines a new light on a neglected, ancient and important wilderness. His message: get out and experience it for yourself. "Just do it — put your feet in the water," he says. "The swamp will change you, I promise."

How to Free the Soil by Depaving

How to Free the Soil by Depaving | The Landscape Café | Scoop.it
How much thought do you give to pavement? Our cities are covered with it, but it’s not exactly a hot topic of conversation—though it should be. Pavement causes all sorts of problems including the fact that water can’t soak through it and instead runs across it, collecting pollutants and biological contaminants that make their way into waterways, plants, animals, and ourselves.
