We often think of ice breakers at the beginning of a school year or at the introduction of a new course. These could be used through out the year. Delete the scoop?

This is the bricolage or blend on the edges of new and old so to speak. We cannot teach and learn without authentic relationships which reach out to others. What do we do to accomplish this?

As was rightly commented in the post, while the educational technology has changed and evolved, the practice thereof has not, at least progressed likewise, That should now be the focus - the learning design and gteaching practice, rather than solely the technology.

How true I have a three year old son who is almost as good on the computer as I am. He can pick the sites he wants from a picture and use the mouse and the pad on my lap top. It is amazing. I'm glad as things change so should the way we educate. Delete the scoop?

We JUST started a Book Blog in my classes. We're using Kidblog, so all students can start their own blog, if they want to. I have invited students to start their own blogs, and some ideas include: Favorite Passages, Riddles/Brainteasers, Science & Math Breakthroughs.
