"Willem Janssen's energy art is beautiful to behold, yet there is more here than meets the eye. I feel that each of his paintings is an energy field, A transmission of presence, healing and at the same time energizing." Eckhart Tolle

Over the years of teaching, I've found a growing need for profound lovingkindness and compassion--a transformation of the heart--to underlie the insights and understandings that come out of the practice. An opening of the mind needs to be supported by compassion from the heart if the practice is to be integrated, fulfilled, and lived in our lives.

Community Miracles Center. The Community Miracles Center is a worldwide community for anyone who is interested in the spiritual teaching A Course in Miracles. We are on the "Great Crusade" in learning how to forgive the world that we are in. We do that by LISTENING to guidance from Holy Spirit or our Higher Power, LEARNING about true cause and effect, and actively DOING things to shift the errors in perception. Our mission is to transform the world we see into a reflection of Heaven and manifest the "Real World." We do this locally, nationally, and internationally.
Francis Lucille is a spiritual teacher of the tradition of Advaita Vedanta (non-duality). He became a disciple of Jean Klein, a French Advaita teacher whom he met in 1975. This was the beginning of a close association that lasted until the death of his friend and spiritual master in 1998. Jean Klein's own guru, "Panditji" Rao, whom he met in India in the nineteen-fifties, was a college professor in Bengalore who taught Sanskrit and belonged to a lineage of traditional Advaita Vedanta teachers
Buddhism originated within a particular historical and social context and developed and transformed as it migrated and interacted with diverse Asian cultures over the course of 2,500 years. Contemporary Westerners, however, occupy an intellectual space shaped by an ongoing dialog between scientific and existential/phenomenological approaches to apprehending the world. Can Westerners absorb the key teachings of Buddhism without surrendering their core beliefs and values to alien traditions, vested authority, or magical thinking and superstition? Will Buddhism still be Buddhism without them?
“For the first time, I could observe my pain and grief. I felt a tear fall. Then something broke, and I couldn’t stop sobbing. I found myself in a terrain where I had always wanted to be, but never had a map. I found myself in the inner landscape, and now I had some direction.” – Omar Rahman, Dhamma Brother

Renunciation is not giving up the things of the world, but accepting that they go away.
Learning about letting go is, in my humble opinion, one of the more important lessons in life. I wrote about the Hindrance of Clinging in Choosing To Be -- I learned about how to deal with it then, and Icontinue to learn more about it every day.
To understand that clinging is human nature, sit and watch your thoughts for a few minutes. Feel the stickiness of some of them. Watch yourself holding on to them . . .
I guess most of us have a 'stone' or two. I do, do you?
What's holding you back? What can't you let go of? What do you need to cleanse from your diet?

"I think a lot of people expect to find happiness at work from what they'll find, rather than from what they'll bring. And I think we have to start paying much more attention to what we can bring, to any job that we might be doing." Sharon Salzberg
